Id be very surprised if this album aint on a lot of best of 2001 lists when its time to summarize this year... I know itll be high up on mine! If you like fuzzed out heavy rock with both feet firmly planted in the 70s sound, youll love this album...Theres no use listing pros and cons on each and every song cause theyre all good, this is an album with no weak moments at all and there arent to many of those around... Buy it and blow out your ear-drums... and if you get a chance to see 'em live, take it (if they're only half as good live as on record they'd be a smokin' live band)...

Heavy blues based classic fuzz sounding rock in the same genre as Mudhoney. MC5 and Stooges influences passed down from generation to generation... Basically the bottom line is that Gorilla is a 3-piece rock and roll outfit that likes the garage sound. Raw guitars fuzzed out, slamming drums good vocals and heavy heavy moments.
