HALF MAN - The complete field guide for cynics

Half Man are cool bunch of guys, I met them in Gothenburg (Sweden) very drunk!!! I like this album, a lot of time and thought has gone into the arrangement and production of this. Good vocals, even if they are a little wayward in places. I guess this band have been listening to vast quantities of rock & blues over the years, to give them the ideas for "The Complete Field Guide For Cynics". There is one thing I don't like is the eighties style guitar solos, which thankfully are few and far between. A talented band, who I was impressed to hear using harmonica on several tracks to give a raw bluesy feel. Other songs have a real seventies rock edge which I like (apart from the solos!). This album is twentyfive years too late......... This is meant as a compliment!
Fav track: "Ain't Ya Coming Home, Babe?"
