Half Man signed with the Italian label Beard of Stars to release a second album later this year. "Red Herring", the follow-up to "The Complete Field Guide for Cynics", was recorded in Hitparade Studio by Mattias Nilsson between December 2000/Januari 2001. The album will be available both in CD and gatefold double LP editions, with a bonus track only available on the vinyl version. The move to Beard of Stars will insure better distribution worldwide.

Stoned Bunnies Records (Greece) will release a doom/heavy rock compilation CD called "Doom or be Doomed" featuring the likes of Half Man, Spirit Caravan, Mirror Of Deception, Asphodel, Violet Vortex, Sicks Daze and Reverend Bizarre. All bands have contributed with an unreleased song.

MDG Records (Mexico) released a compilation album called "Sacred Groove". Half Man contribute with "Nowhere Leading Road (Part I & II)" from CFGFC. Other bands are Generous Maria, Adrenalin 42, Twin Earth, Pilotos, Stonerwitch, Pod People, Gonzales, Low Born Poor, Mothercake, Astroqueen, Dragonauta and Remuda Dust.

CFGFC was reviewed by Greger Rönnqvist for Prog-Reviews, Midwestern Skies, e-Prog, Seismic Radio, Alternate View, Sonitus, Stormbringer and Prog Net.
