If you want to hear something that isn't about blowing out your hearing non-stop with more of a thought out plot then this is the CD for you. It has a lot of directions and seems to tell a story, a sad angry one. The melodic guitar work and simple lines makes it for me. Check it out... It has progressive aspects of epic proportions...like King Crimson crossed with Doom ala Spirit Caravan, Goatsnake.

Yes... this album is brilliant! From start to finish it is a manic ride... like chasing a binge on Wild Irish Rose with some Vicadin. At times angry and sonic, and others more somber and minimalistic. Whatever the mood, the songwriting on Dan's new opus is stellar.

Slow Horse is back with more of that perfect melodic Doom. This time, though, look for some surprises. RIYL: Goatsnake, Spirit Caravan, Pagan Altar.
