In fact, one might say Preston first codified the mondo disturbo aesthetic that would become Thrones when he recorded the self titled CD, Joe Preston .

The Thrones make the Earth move. Rumbling sub-sonic nightmares populate this disc. It's much like a demented movie soundtrack plowing through your grey matter. I would suggest turning it up very loud and annoying your neighbors. Small animals and children will run in fear. Mr. Preston continues to amaze and astound on Alraune. Not for the weak of heart.
