Crash and Burn's sound is a combined upbringing of punk rock, classic rock and dirge metal doom. Some of their stuff is upbeat and aggressive like Motorhead... Sure it's drenched in Punk, but there is an umistakeable love for classic rock in there that gives the overall sound an almost veteran rock and roll feel. These guys are tight too- like a well oiled fine tuned small block Chevy with a 4 barrel and dual exhaust. As a matter of fact, this would be the perfect album to put in when you are feeling frisky on the highway. There are plenty of changes that get quite slow and heavy too- so it's not all fast and definitely not the same all the way through. The vocals are over the top hardcore while retaining melody...but simply blood thinning at times. The guitars remind me of RKL's Rock and Roll Nightmare. Maiden and hardcore mixed and drenched in blues.
