Iron Giant take all the best elements of metal and stoner rock and have crafted an album that go toe to toe with all the heavy hitters in the scene. By combining the southern groove of Pepper Keenan-era Corrosion of Conformity, the downtuned sludge of Goatsnake and drunken swagger of Orange Goblin, the Giant have a bonafide "summer drinking" album on their hands.

Iron Giant have got killer grooves all over their 12th Planet debut. �No Longer Sleeping�. They are a heavy ass 4-piece who�ve created a huge buzz as one of the premiere heavy-rocking groove bands in Canada, gaining most of their fan base from their powerful live impact and incessant touring on the east coast. I�ve been hearing about them for quite awhile now, but haven�t actually heard them until now: let me tell you, the hype is real�these guys can rawk. The songs are well-written tour-tested monsters, and the band, fronted by vocalist Chris Lewis have totally got their shit together. This is good-time heavy rock, served best when loud.
