Rock is back! The name speaks for itself. This is a dymanic and tonefully rich band. Their sound is a catchy yet progressive new twist on hard-hitting, old school guitar rock.

This is a very cool band from Maryland. They showcase a fat guitar pick up (hence the Humbucker reference) and write powerhouse riff-based hard rock. They center on mid-tempo, ball-crushing bombastics. The guitar work is outstanding and is somewhat reminiscent of The Doors meet Led Zeppelin with Crumley's Morrison-like vocals taking the spotlight. As a tight unit they craft energetic songs that fit in a late Sixties, early Seventies bubble. The raw, acoustic (with Jews Harp) "My Worlds Insane" drifts into Alice In Chains / Pearl Jam territory while "Sound Around Me" fuels a double kick drum into hard rock heaven. The record closes with the monster "Earthtone Blues," very heavy, very Sabbath, very cool. If you dig '70s rock, this is one of the best retro-outfits around. Recommended!!
