Accolades for
Warship
Simply put, it kicks ass. It sounds like Sabbath and Corrosion of Conformity. The riffs are heavy and detuned. The vocals are somewhat audible and filled with bile and hate in the best kind of way. The drummer pounds away like a mad man and the bassist carries the low end like an angry god, not an easy task when there are three guitar players. The production has a very raw edge, which in some ways is refreshing in this age of overly technical recordings. It definitely pays homage to the great doom farers of old.
