Swedish �stoner-rock� kings The Awesome Machine combine fuzzy valve tone guitars with massively heavy revolving grooves, to create a sound that makes regular detours into psychedelia and add flashes of bluesy slide-guitar. Germans Duster 69 are propelled by the sludgy murk of heavy bass lines and add vocals with a strong punk element. The guitars are loaded with fuzz and are played with a level of sonic aggression that provide for a sound that is utterly heavy, yet surprisingly catchy.
