Queens of the Stone Age deserve a hearty slap on the back, for encouraging Dave Grohl to do what he does best, in other words, hammer away at those skins. The drumming stands out by miles; it sounds as though not only Grohl�s life is dependent on how well he drums, but so to is the rest of the band. This is a single that oozes charisma, literally setting in �stone� its own musical agenda. Witness a band brimming with confidence, feeling free enough to not just play their instruments but to gloriously indulge their instruments. The band doesn�t seem content to merely follow the trend but is daring to move rock music forward.
