Heavy hitters 3D House of Beef does it again. Hearing the records before "Low Cycle" I can testify that these cats have stuck to their guns from day one. Acid King's long-awaited new cd makes a definitive statement of heaviness that more than makes up for their small number of releases. Misdemeanor - "5 Wheel Drive"
This is the first stand-alone EP issued by MeteorCity. This five-piece, all-female Swedish outfit ploughs through four loud and hard sludge-filled songs, recorded at Californias famous Rancho de la Luna studios and produced by Dave Catching and Brant Bjork, with John Garcia guesting on backup vocals for the last track. Theyve opened for Fu Manchu... (MeteorCity)...

Mississippi Sludge - "Biscuits and Slavery"
Heavy ass bottom heavy Southern sludge swamp rock. Blues based vocals, keyboards and ripping southern riffs and over the top leads... This album has a mix of hard hitting rockers to slow change up beat Skynyrd influenced southern blues. There are a ton of riffs that make this record stick in my head right away. The band reminds me of a little of e... robwrong (StonerRock.com)...

Molehill - "Comfort Measured in Razor Lines"
Molehill are southern fried sludge-core in the true sense of the term and Comfort Measured in Razor Lines actually scared the shit out of me the first time I listened to it. Well not really, but in a really good horror movie kind of way it effectively made me feel uneasy and disturbed.... El Danno (StonerRock.com)...

Mondo Generator - "Cocaine Rodeo"
This cult recording is from the sick/twisted brain of Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age/Kyuss/Dwarves), and features his partners in crime: Josh Homme (Kyuss, Queens, Desert Session), Brandt Bjork (FuManchu, Kyuss, Desert SuperStar), Burnt Matress, and Up N' Syder (now in Karma to Burn) . Monster Magnet - "God Says No"
Monster Magnet has come a long way since the old days. You listen to Tab 25 or Spine of God, and then you listen to Dopes... or Powertrip and wonder what the hell happened? Well at least I do. This new album 'God Says No' reminds me of times of Dopes, and Powertrip mainly, but there is a hint of the old stuff... Spine of God, and (uh...) Superjudge... robwrong (StonerRock.com)...

Monster Magnet - "Love Monster"
After being uncerimoniously dropped by Electra Records, Dave Wyndorf's original band Shrapnel recombined briefly as Crash & Burn...which did. Monstrous Blues, The - "High Octane"
Yeah! what a rockin' 5 track EP this is! Showing great variety, melody, and all round worship to the rock, this band from Wollongong is making some great sounds on this cd. Including the single Octane(the highlight of the ep) this ep seems to exemplify the diversity of this band, with 5 very individual sounding songs, which all manage to depict var... blackhashish (StonerRock.com)...

Mother Superior - "The Mothership Movement"
This album has it all... Every (good) musical style you have ever heard (almost)... Unfortunately there are no accolades available for this item. Fortunately, you can be damn sure it's a goodie if it's in our catalogue! -El Danno (StonerRock.com)

Natas - "Delmar"
Their swirling, sub-psychedelic song structures find them deeply entrenched in the seventies-inspired stoner rock phenomenon which are filling the imaginations of so many aggressive music fans as of late, myself included.... Sean Palmerston (Roadburn)...

Natas - "Ciudad de Brahman"
Perhaps the greatest gift that Natas possesses is their ability to be laid back and mellow. There are so many heavy, powerful bands around that hearing a band that has the grace and finesse of Natas is a welcome relief. Beautifully intricate guitar parts swirl, entwine, tantalize and then finally give way to seriously heavy riffage.... Drew (Roadburn)...

A nine-song retrospective of thundering sludge and mystical rapture. From En Busca de la Especia, their first CD released only in Argentina: Asteroides / Division Miami / Viento Dorado. The [first] side kicks off with a very mellow, desert rock style guitar intro that reminds me of the Kyuss stuff- or better said - the guitar style of Mr. Homme...very mellow with lots of swirling Leslie cabinet effect on it. Negative Reaction - "The Orion Chronicles"
On "The Moon Song", New York's biker cosmonauts take a stoned, 38 minute and 20 second trip through psychedelic sludge doom, monster riffage and toxic drone powered by Orange amplification.
