Accolades for
Evermore
The rhythms are low, smooth and thick, with riffs you can grill a steak on and bass-lines (Sabbath or Blue Cheer, anyone?) that make it sound so easy you wonder why it wasn't invented until the '70's and why the hell people bothered with anything else in the '90's. Vocalist Magnus Ekwall has more range than migrating birds and a voice that can cut through rock. How do they make this sound so effortless?
