| Greetings all, After grappling with shady divorce lawyers and roaming the western lands for the last 2 months or so, I`m glad to say we are once again settled and reachable. We are at least for now staked out in Fresno, CA, home of the Karate Kid and gateway to the Sierras. There`s lot`s of fruit here too. Here`s the what`s been goin` on: We have just released the new CDEP by BELOW THE SOUND from Albuquerque (members formerly of Mindwar, Des of High on Fire`s old band, I guess). This is a collaboration with CRUCIAL BLAST. The title is "More Like a Gun Shot Than a Car Wreck," and has been compared to the likes of Girls Against Boys, Shellac and Naked Raygun. This is the first in a series of CDEPs that will be released by Berserker/Crucial Blast. Future releases include MILLIGRAM, FLOOR and Thrasher darlings BLOOD HAG, among others... We have just released a new single by SWEET ROXX in collaboration with Shifty Records and Mind`s Eye Records, a record store in Cleveland. SWEET ROXX is the members of BOULDER playing some really kick-ass--and funny--80S hair metal. You will really dig it (although I haven`t even gotten my copies yet). The new SPICKLE CD (w/CRUCIAL BLAST) is at the manufacturing plant and will be released JULY 23rd. Entitled "The Right To Remain Silent," the record is again an instrumental and includes guest appearances by members of SUPLECS and HOSTILE APOSTILE. The band will be touring in support of the record in June. An added bonus: The first 500 copies of this record will be bundled with the new DULAC SWADE CDEP, "The House of Dulac Swade." Dulac Swade is SPICKLE`s punk-rock alter-ego, featuring SPICKLE drummer Kenny on vox. And of course, new records by WEEDEATER (Sixteen Tons) and TOTIMOSHI (Mysterioso?) are now on (some) store shelves. Both acts are playing Emissions, and both of these CDs come highly recommended not only by us, but a bunch of other people, too--people from all over the place. Both discs are for sale in The All That`s Heavy store right now. That`s it for now. Unfortunately I will not be at Emissions, as I am at home eagerly awaiting the new EMINEM album. Please write me and let me know how WEEDEATER and TOTIMOSHI handled themselves. And JUMBO`s KILLCRANE, too. They`ll be releasing some bangin` new material on Berserker in August. It is really, really good. You`ll see... Hold your heads up and keep those horns in the air! B-Rad, Berjerker, er, Berserker Records berserkerrecords.com |
