Accolades for
Self Titled
To listen to Dead Meadow is to be transported into a garage studio, the air dense with smoke, the downtuned, monotonous songs pulling you into a hypnotic, trance-like state. In this slow-paced world, the production comes a distant second to the buzz.
When a band like Dead Meadow comes around, you are refreshed. Even if it's not a record you would listen to every day, you still know that it has something that other records don't have. For Dead Meadow, it's the textures of the songs that attract me.
