"We are sad to announce that Mike "Furious" Fiore has resigned as bass player for SOLARIZED. As sad as we are about his departure, we are also very happy for him. Mike recently got married and is working a good job. Musicians rarely make a decent living. We think Mike made the right choice. Actually, we know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is doing the right thing. With the demands of "real life" (as opposed to "rock life"), sometimes a person can`t dedicate his or herself to something as much as they would like, and sometimes best to bow out gracefully, which is exactly what Mike did.

When someone leaves a band, like losing a family member, and to SOLARIZED, Mike Fiore will always be family, perhaps more so than any other member who has left the fold thus far. We`re proud to know him and we consider ourselves fortunate to have had him as a band member. We`ll miss him more than he`ll ever know. In short, the dude is truly righteous, he is our brother, and we wish him the very best in life."

Thanks,

Jim Hogan and Solarized.
