In between the last Speedealer album and their latest efforts Bleed, the mighty Texas based outfit managed to record an album live at CBGB's this year on the 4th of July...and man, is it smoking! Speedealer truly lives up to their name, energy fueled Rock and Roll, balls out and no frills. Technically these guys are awesome musicians with their trade-off dual guitar riffs and blast beat drums. It's borderline hardcore punk, or maybe actually it is just that. If you haven't seen this group live, then this CD is the perfect introduction to what this energy charged band of crazed dudes is capable of.

This 17 song blast of adrenaline is a great live CD. All the songs on Burned Alive run right into one another showing just how relentless these cats are putting on a live show. The Speedealer sound you ask? Well what is it? I say it 's somewhere along the lines of Zeke as far as balls out energy, but the guitar work is a bit more stoner-riffic with rock and roll blues based riffs and blazing leads. If for some reason you can't see Speedealer and are a fan, pick up this CD. It truly captures them live and the production is one of the better ones that I have heard for a live CD...it's truly hard to record a band live and have it sound this good. Plus, the live show doesn't discriminate, meaning you can't go fix mistakes like you can in the studio; therefore you know that Speedealer is quite good and in my opinion worth seeing live hands down. Long live Speedealer!
