This 7" shows the totally psychedelic side of On Trial. The A side is a great 3 minute version of the old Blue Cheer song, "Parchment Farm". The band has a fantastic 60's raw garage sound on this. The B-side is a cover of "Interstellar Overdrive" by Pink Floyd. This is probably the most far out and psychedelic thing that the band has ever recorded. Incredible sound effects and a great version of this classic song.

This new single proves that On Trial is alive and kicking. There's "Parchment Farm", an old live favorite of the band, and it's closer to the Blue Cheer version than the Moose Allison original. This is very hard stuff, a fast track with superb guitars. There is a pause and a slower part in the middle, and then we're back in the middle of the full sonic attack. On the B-side you can find the space rock/psych classic "Interstellar Overdrive" by Pink Floyd! Wow, what a version, the heaviest I've ever heard. Really spaced out stuff and an excellent piece. All in all, this is a marvellous single and worth getting!
