Accolades for Worship the Evil
Khang has more in common soundwise with American doom bands like Las Cruces (and maybe even a little Earthride), then fellow British doomsters like Electric Wizard. A strong sludge vibe yet theres some bits and pieces in each song that seems very influenced by 70s hard rock. Fast or slow, Khang has that killer groove.
Wow, how Doom can be so sweet. Fat lavalike riffs with a raw voice, no not like Eyehategod, more like Las Cruces. The music reminds me a lot of the old Trouble. Worship The Evil is definitely a CD for the whole family and for fans of Trouble, Las Cruces and Cathedral a MUST!
The guitar tone on this reminds me somewhat of Warhorse on As Heaven Turns to Ash. But the songs are much faster than anything Warhorse does. Sounds pretty thick to these ears.
