This three piece delivers a full plate of math and weird hard rock components... The music is often loose and then all of a sudden intricate with delicate parts that are well thought out. It seems to be completely drenched in psychedelia this way...jazz influenced as well as a lot of things.

Stinking Lizaveta's instrumental post rock draws as much on Sabbath as it does on Sonic Youth or Slint. By combining a metal edge with the precision and repetition of math rock and the blasting assault of early Black Flag, Stinking Lizaveta comes on with a sound all their own.
