Accolades for Impeckable
Impeckable shows the band in fine form as they flirt with a funky kind of progressive rock Zeppelin only hinted at. I always believed their style was the perfect marriage of Rush and Sabbath. They should have had the same worldwide popularity as the quality and quantity of their output in the years '71-'78 was at least equal to if not superior to those bands.
Tony Bourge is one of the all-time least appreciated genius guitar players, and this album showcases his riffing beautifully. For those looking for sonic sludge, this album is technically proficient and has great songwriting.
