Accolades for Time to Fly
The album is very stoner/radio friendly and reminds me mostly of the same kind of consistent quality as far as songwriting goes as Sheavy... The music is full of deep psychedelic grooves and blues. Not a lot of hardcore tendencies, like quick weird time/tempo changes...more of the straight forward feel for sure. The songwriting is simple, but has some qualities that are undeniable.
Just like their "Northern Lights" EP production/recording quality is top notch for this genre. This shit is definitely groove oriented and on the slightly laid back side of things (but still very heavy). An oxymoron? I suppose, but Sea of Green seems to have carved out an interesting niche for themselves out of said dichotomy. Real accessible stuff with interesting effects/psychedelia throughout.
