| Toronto, Canada - After a few unavoidable delays, 12th Planet Music is now pleased to announce the long anticipated release of Burnout`s second full-length CD, "Armour of the Gods". 12th Planet Music would like to take this opportunity to bid a fond farewell to founding member and lead guitarist, Tim Matthews. Sadly, Matthews has had to move from Burnout`s home base of Burlington, Iowa to follow career advancements elsewhere. Although he will be missed, Matthews leaves behind him a legacy of chugging guitar leads to accompany the groove filled riffs of guitarist Aaron Birlson, the monstrous bass tracks of bassist John Hopkins, the driving beats of drummer Braden Peterson and the purely stoner styling of vocalist Mark Shields, that culminate to bring together "Armour of the Gods". In Tim`s stead we would like to welcome the newest member of the Burnout crew, Micah Oleson. Expect the same great music with a slightly new flair from these powerhouse rockers at their CD release party in support of "Armour of the Gods" set for April 26th at Gabe`s Oases in Iowa City, Iowa. www.12thplanetmusic.com |
