Heavy ass southern metal/rock just the way I like it...The music on the Brothers of Conquest's latest 'All the Colors of Darkness' reminds me of two guitar Judas Priest at times, other times it has that same sort of driving force like an Orange Goblin tune...

The vocals are somewhere between Ben Ward of Orange Goblin and Matt Pike of High on Fire. That same sort of melodic growly hard stuff that just cuts through the rest of the band. The guitars are madly overdriven and perfect for this rock and roll style. Great blues leads and double guitar parts that make the sound as thick as butter.

Other bands that it reminds me of: Mississippi Sludge, Suplecs, Weedeater, Sabbath (check out 'Evil Realized'- it has a striking similarity to A National Acrobat) and others... Great sludge rock done right:)
