Railsplitter have a deranged hardcore/stoner sound that is heavy and in the same vein as Bongzilla, Sleep and Eyehategod. The guitar sound is fuzzed out, the drummer and bass player are locked together tightly, and the vocals are over the top hardcore style like Mike from Eyehategod. There are a ton of changes, tasty doom/blues riffs and well written tempos. Get this one if you like any of the bands mentioned here. I'm sure that the YOB and High on Fire fans will appreciate what Railsplitter is doing as well...not for the timid.

Very heavy, sludgy, down-south type stuff. If you like the type of stuff coming out on Shifty Records, or what Berserker Records was up to, pick this up. Totally worthy.
