| Hello everyone, You may have heard rumours to the effect that Berserker Records was going under. Unfortunately those rumours are true. Brad kept things going as long as he could but in the end running a label on next to nothing became too draining, financially and emotionally. So that`s it. Berserker had a good run. There is a bright side. All the records which were co-releases by Berserker and Crucial Blast will now be picked up by Crucial Blast. http://www.crucialblast.com The Crucial Blast site is ungergoing a revamp at the moment. It should be back up w/in the next week or so. Adam Wright will now be handling promo and distribution for the Totimoshi, Spickle, Below the Sound, and Spickle releases. While the CB site is down - These releases can be ordered through Lumberjack Distro`s online store: www.lumberjack-online.com While I think about it: Lumberjack also has a few copies of the Floor/Dove split, as does No Idea: http://www.noidearecords.com The Slow Horse disc has reverted back to the band - for promo and distro info contact Scott Sanfratello or Dan Bukszpan. Now for some other stuff: New from Crucial Blast: Samus and All is Suffering. More info on the CB site. (Soon!!! We promise!) Below the Sound will be playing w/J.J. Paradise Player`s Club @ The Launchpad. Albuquerque, NM on Dec. 4, 2002. According to Henry Wilson, the Dove record is about 85-90% finished. As soon as it`s done they`ll be looking for a label. Hopefully someone will have the good sense to snap it up right away. Slow Horse just got back from a (mostly, according to them) successful tour. Read about it here: www.slowhorse.com/ Totimoshi also just got off the road. They`re planning to hit the studio with Alex Newport early in the new year, followed by a long-ass tour in the spring/summer. Finally, Weedeater just pulled back into N.C. from a short (for them) tour. Their third record titled "God Luck and Good Speed" is pretty much done. They`ll be shopping it, so labels pay attention. They`re planning to hit the road again in March, most likely with Earthride. As for me: I`d like to take this oppurtunity to thank Brad and Adam for giving me the chance to work with some kick ass bands. To the bands - you all fucking rule, it was great working with you. Other than that I`m going to continue doing some freelance work, writing for Dead Angel http://www.monotremata.com/dead, and making noise with the does. -Neddal Ayad |
