With Live Volume, the sound quality is pristine and their live show is extraordinarily represented within the fifteen tracks. They run through the majority of their hits. COC is a band that performs with arena status but sadly are confined to smaller venues and clubs. Anyone who has witnessed them live can attest to this fact and "Live Volume" is an impeccable capture of the magic that is Pepper, Mike, Woody and Jimmy!

C.O.C.'s first ever live album certainly delivers all it can in the little single cd package. They bust out lengthy, guitar ladden, improvisions of the tunes we know and love. There's a good mix of old and new. The mix is great, every one of Pepper's palm mutes, Mike's slaps, and Woody's little pick scrapes bust right through your speakers. Also check out how the guitar bounces back and forth around your head on "Clean My Wounds". A definate must for any C.O.C. fan.

Not only is this COC's first live release, but it's their first release with new drummer Jimmy Bower (Down, Eyehategod, The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight). Stripped down and raw is the way a live album should be, and COC don't disappoint on Live Volume.
