Accolades for Wild, Wonderful Purgatory
The fact that they almost managed to secure for themselves the vocalising services of ex-Kyuss man John Garcia will tell you an awful lot of what you need to know about Karma to Burn. Like Kyuss, the game here is bad-vibed, juggernaut grooves underspinned by a seismic, rumbling bass.
All in all I dig it and is recommended to anyone who is
fan of The Almighty Riff. Traditional rock songs in an
nontraditional form. Anyone who needs a chorus to keep
themselves anchored to a song probably will not dig
this.
