| May was a tumultuous month for Infernal Racket. Our apologies to those who checked in for an update and got none, but we`ve had lots to do. Unforeseen derailments and heaps of the usual bullshit left our staff burned out and pissed off. May was not a total loss however; DRAGON GREEN rose to the occasion at Nyabinghi for the forth-annual Emissions From The Monolith Festival in Youngstown, Ohio. RABIES CASTE marched across Europe with some of Relapse Records heaviest hitters: Dillinger Escape Plan, Nasum, and Genocide SS. Sadly, other less agreeable developments have had their impact. SUPERHIGHWAY CARFIRE`s drummer, Dan Ballinger, suffered a debilitating back injury, effectively side-lining the band for a good portion of the summer. This accident and a number of other complications caused the majority of Infernal Racket events to be canceled in May. Such is life. Not being the sort that dwells on past shortcomings, at Infernal Racket we are looking ahead to the many fine projects now brewing in our lair. BLACK ARMY JACKET`s long overdue CD is still on target for release this summer and we are very pleased to report that the mastering talents of Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer) have been enlisted for the project. Of course we have several other things cooking that aren`t quite ready to unveil. Rest assured music fan, all will be revealed. www.infernalracket.com |
