| I just got an e-mail from the arrangers of the DIST festival stating that this years DIST festival in Forshaga (north of Karlstad) is officially cancelled. They list several reasons for this: �Too few people in attendence at last years DIST festival and other Swedish metal festivals this spring... Problems in the festival organization. Too heavy of a workload for the few people in the organization... Last but not least, when you do this kinda thing on a volunteer basis it should be something you enjoy to do... the last month it has been the opposite.� So you Swedish �stoners� who had hoped to see Roachpowder, Backdraft, Mustasch, Kaptain Sun, Transport League and Freedom Bleeder among others tearing up the stages at this years DIST festival are shit outta luck... to bad... |
