This here gem is a Spine of God calibre space rock record with heavy doses of MC5 punk rock bombast. IE: It kicks fucking ass!

This stuff reeks of MC5. It's awesome energy from start to end made me know right from the beginning that I had a rock and roll punk/garage classic in my hands, or did I? The over the top whiskey ridden vocals, melodic and pushing his voice hard. The guitar breaks into beautiful southern-sludge parts that just twist along. Fuzzed out at times, overdriven and clean at others. Like the MC5 meets Monster Magnet circa Spine of God.

Gotta say, I was blown away by this one. Fucking rawks. With albums like this, and the new Raging Slab and Drunk Horse albums, 2001 might just be the rock n' roll renaissance we've been waiting for.
