You have all of the typical Euro-classically influenced guitar and Steve Harris-esque moving bass harmonies but with way darker elements. I swear I detected some Grief in there. The lead guitar tones are reminiscent of early Metallica and also hints at some thrash influences with a brief Kreator styled chuggy riff before dispersing into another big, sweeping Maiden melody. The tracks manage to hold some of the �mope and brood� in between freak out double bass breaks. Definitely delivered my fix for Iron Maiden, Sad Wings of Destiny-era Priest, Cathedral, and Celtic Frost. Fans of Noosebomb, Rwake, and classic doom will dig this.
