Elektrik Mistress is the new creature of Kurt Kuthe, another heavy stoner reality to consider for the good music and the particular approach of its leader. Very similar to his previous release as Peacemaker, this CD demonstrate a certain freshness, confirmed by the sound of the guitars and the original vocals, always floating between the visionary and the wild tunes. I�ve really like the hypnotic Malana Dabba, slow and spacey in its progression, and Vertigo, with its simply but rockin� guitar riff, the perfect basement for the strong vocals of the song.

Some of the stuff reminds me of Spine of God era Monster Magnet, alot of it is just desert drenched (Kyuss sans the vocals) and just steady good head trip songs. Lots of little details that you pick up on from repeated listens- little hidden things...I said trippy:) Everything from hard rock to acoustic Pink Floyd-esque moments.
