Accolades for
Split 10 inch

Valis has a sound that reminds me of Screaming Trees right out of the gate, which is no surprise since ex-members of the Screaming Trees along with members of Mudhoney and Tad make up Valis. Their sound is certainly somewhere between Stoner and Grunge, if there is such a thing that is...and if there is, it`s Valis.

Valis music is like a stoned-out mix of Screaming Trees, Hawkwind, and Sabbath. And thats about as stoned as they come. Spacerock heads will love Valis, but fans of Nebula or even Queens of the Stone Age will find a lot to chew on as well.
