But I guess its the same old same old with the Gothenburg audience, if it aint a weekend gig it takes real wellknown genre bands (like Queens of the Stone Age or something like that) to pack the clubs... but then again its their loss, they missed out on a good gig...
This tour also took Sunride thru Germany and Denmark and I hope they had a few more people attending the gigs on the rest of the tour. I also had a chance to talk with the guys backstage before the gig, and as always with stonerbands they were a bunch of cool and down-to-earth guys, fact is Ive yet to meet any rude assholes in this genre... but then again I guess having a camera hanging around your neck at gigs might work as a "rude repellant".

Sunride started their set with "Inhuman Groover" from their latest fullength "The Great Infiltration"... so it was the pedal to the metal from the get go. Their set consisted mainly of songs from "The Great Infiltration" album, but they also played the two songs from the just released "You Only Die Twice" 7" single.

To top it of they also played two new songs, "Spiral Sense" and "Speeding Nowhere", both good songs that I hope will end up on either their next fullength or some other future release. They closed the gig with a cover of the Misfits tune "Children In Heat"... all in all a fine gig from one of the better Scandinavian "stonerpunk" bands around.
