Well, now I know what all the hype is about. If you like bands off of the Beard of Stars label (OJM, Ufomammut, And Thats All Folks, etc.) or other psych bands like Dead Meadow or 35007 with some Cathedral thrown in and various other experimental music, this should be right up your alley. Youll need time to digest it all, heavy psychoactive drugs may be helpful!

Paul Chain is a genius! He's been playing this music since 1977 and Park of Reason [the album this single is pulled from] is one of his best albums yet! Extremely psychedelic, doom, kraut, space, noise, prog. The song featuring members of OJM is particularly cool - it's more HEAVY!

When the first cut Solitude Man came on, the first thing that popped in my head was a sound that instantly reminded me of a cross between Abdullah and Earth...I never noticed it before, but Paul Chain can play guitar intensely well! The blues rock leads on this stuff absolutely slay! As the album goes on '8 String Sweep' is a swelling spacial numbing number with lots of travelling.
