SOUTH BEND REGIONAL MUSEUM OF ART TRIBES OF NEUROT CAIRN April 13-June 2, 2002 Project Room Tribes of Neurot (an art collective spearheaded by members of rock group Neurosis) incorporate sound, video, and earthwork elements in their installation Cairn. Formulated from video and audio recordings of ancient stone burial and ritual sites in Ireland, Cairn attempts to evoke the resonance of these spaces by offering a site of immersion and meditation. Tribes of Neurot merchandise will be available in the Gift Shop.
