Accolades for
...Come the Mountain (Deluxe Edition)

Come the Mountain, the much anticipated debut full length from Portland doomsters Witch Mountain contains all the elements that make a truly classic album. Im talking a debut release that nears the calibre of such other classic debuts as Black Sabbath Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin - 1 and Monster Magnet Spine of God to name but just a few. Im not quite saying that it is as great as the aforementioned debuts, but its definitely groundbreaking, creative and fresh from start to finish.

Witch Mountain specialize in the kind of Doom-rock thats so raw, its almost punk. Theyve managed to take all the haunting beauty and grace found in the recent Abdullah and Mirror of Deception releases and turn it on its head. Whats left is a filthy dirty guitar rumble and some impressive rhythm chops.
